I have trouble choosing X79 motherboard on Aliexpress for my i7-3930K. There's so many models to choose from. Sorry for the vague question but is there any good model that doesn't require too much tinkering?

I think you miss the point. The Chinese stuff uses these things but pushes them to the limits. You are showing boards that would only compete with a qnap or Synology nas. All these boards are only 2 or 4 cores and 1 or 2 SATA connectors, which means if you want the 8+ SATA drives then you have to buy add on cards which removes the pcie slots. I'm not sure if any of these have video out... You can get ryzen 7000 (8 core 12 threads) zen 9 board with 6 2.5 gig ethernet, 10 SATA some have 12 SATA and 3 m.2 drives. And you can still have power usage up to 65 to 120 watts, if you push it to the utter max. The AI stuff alone, would absolutely kill the boards you are suggesting here. And the crazy thing is the CPUs and chipsets support all of this but it's only the Chinese companies that are making everything available on the board. Asus, gigabyte, ASRock could do these boards too but they don't, they limit everything

What do you think of the jingsha x99e Max motherboard? I'm looking for a plate of maximum 22 cm x 24 to put in a Cooler Master nr200p case and this one is just the right size. It seems to have good vrms and good connectivity. Could an mvme ssd be connected to the ngff port to put two mvme ssds? Can you overclock and turbounlock? What possibilities does it offer? Question why get a new chinese MB over a used Supermicro MB?

It's not good to pack motherboards in plastic. The TVS diodes will help protect it from static damage but those diodes themselves are sacrificial and get damaged over time. All that static electricity from those plastic bags just shortens the life of TVS diodes. If you don't have static conductive bags it's better to take the battery out and wrap it in aluminum foil the battery could burn up if it gets shorted that's why we use static conductive plastics, The board will arrive undamaged from ESD if it's wrapped in foil.

Cześć! Co myślisz o Jingsha x99 e-max. Wydaje się być to fajna tania płyta na cheapset x99. Problem może być z dobraniem chłodzenia bo port pcie jest bardzo blisko socketu i karta graficzna może przeszkadzać. (Mam fortis 3) Spodobała mi się też jingsha x99 D8I Ewentualnie taniej machinist x99 pr9. Planuję użyć e5 2690 v3 z chłodzeniem foris 3. Co myślisz o tych płytach? Pozdrawiam

Hi, I have a question. Maxsun b450m challenger is supports Ryzen 7 1700 but , in product page it says it requires different bios for that . But in the official website Ryzen 1000-5000 series requires *B1* bios . I don't if it has the latest bios then I put a Ryzen 7 1700 is that going to work.

I have the same Motherboard since 3 Weeks now - from Ali Express with a Xeon E5 2680 V4 and 4x8GB Ram Works good so far for ~120 € 😍 I have also ordered a cpu Cooler with 4 Heatpipes and a Quiyida Power Supply - Works all good - No Explosions or something... 🤣 I have wondered about the TPM thing in the Bios... i hope you cann tell us more in a following Video ! 🙂

Whats the best chinese "x99" motherboard for gaming performance, turbo unlock and quad channel performence?

Agreed 100% when it comes to a primary NAS. The problem is that home labs have caught on, and rather than have to independent specialized machines the trend is to find an all in one device. A device that can host many VMs simultaneously. I’m going to be working with video files, and my i3-10100 setup was taking 12 hrs per job. I look forward to seeing what the e5 2680 v4 can do by comparison. In hindsight I should’ve purchased the refurbished workstation equivalent, then again who’s to say that reliability wouldn’t also be questionable.
